Florian Marquet studied Architecture in Belgium under the mentorship of Jan De Vylder from 2008 to 2013.
Following his graduation, he spent a gap year in New York City, where he participated in an exchange program at Pratt Institute. During this time, he engaged with several high-profile architects, artists, and industry leaders, expanding both his professional network and his interdisciplinary perspective on design.
In 2013, Florian continued his academic journey in Japan, pursuing his Master's degree through exchange at the University of Tokyo under the guidance of Kengo Kuma. This period deeply influenced his architectural philosophy, particularly his sensitivity to materiality, context, and spatial experience.
Prior to establishing his own studio, Florian collaborated with renowned architectural offices in New York, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Paris, contributing to projects of varying scales across Europe, Asia, and North America.
Florian has received awards for several international projects, and his work has been widely recognized in leading architectural publications worldwide.
